Washington Hall is opening up its newly renovated event space to the wedding community, and I gotta tell you, it’s lovely. This light-filled, historic venue (located super close to down town and Cap Hill) is one of Seattle’s best kept secrets – but I’m guessing that won’t last long once couples see the space for themselves. Used since 1908 as a community gathering space, the main stage has been graced by so many amazing artists over the years such as Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Jimi Hendrix, and Ella Fitzgerald – to name a few. I geek out about musical history, so you can bet that this place feels extra-magical to a nerd like me.
Back in January, Katie and Mallory from Wonderstruck Event Design put together an awesome group of creatives, artists, foodies, bartenders, and music masters who came together for an open house to kick off the venue’s wedding debut. It was a blast! Here are some images from the night. The space itself is this crisp, open, blank canvas. The Wonderstruck team coordinated a colorful interior for the night. So fun to see that transformation!
Shout out to the vendors below who made the night successful. I can’t wait to shoot a wedding here!
