Warning: This next engagement session features an adorable corgi IN A BOWTIE. You may or may not be prepared for this. If you’re like me and get lightheaded at the sight of cute animals, you may want to sit down before you proceed.
Vi & Chris are A W E S O M E. They thought it would be fun to get a little fancy for their engagement session and go to their fravorite restaurant, The Walrus & the Carpenter in Ballard, to kick off their engagement session adventure. And so we did! Vi rented a couple of dresses from Rent the Runway, Chris sassed things up with a suit & tie, and the good people at the W&C and the Barnacle let us sneak in before opening to snag some photos. (Note: Please eat at this restaurant or visit the bar immediately if you haven’t experienced it yet. NOMS. I mean it. But that’s for another post…)
After shooting around Ballard a bit, we returned to the couple’s home to grab their dog, Rolo, who is so cute that it almost makes me angry. I always vote yes to adding dogs to engagement sessions. And to end the day, we journeyed down to the Seattle waterfront to grab the last bit of sunshine and play near the Great Wheel. It was a good day. Such fun variety in this session. Once again, I’m feeling incredibly grateful to be able to do this work. Thank you to Vi & Chris for being champs that day, and for including me on your wedding journey. Vi, if you’re reading this, snuggle Rolo for me. :)
^^ Dapper, no?
^^ Okay, whaaaat? Vi bringing her A-game. Also I think that deep blue is her color, for the record. ALSO, there is some A+ sparkle action going on here. I’m diggin’ it.
^^ Nope. Can’t handle it. Too good.
