I’m so excited to share images from Day 2 of my team’s styled wedding shoot at Seabrook, the cutest little beach town on the Washington coast. As I stated in Part One, Katie from Wonderstruck Event Design and I were able to assemble a stellar team of vendors to help us execute the overall vision. We shot over two days in the town and surrounding area. While the first day of shooting had a bit of a beachy, moody, romantic feel to it, Day Two provided us with a little more sunshine, as well as opportunities to be a bit more playful with our approach. Day Two features Seabrook’s cutie-pie cruiser bikes, a stop for ice cream, ribbon accessories, and shimmery bridesmaid dresses. The world needs more sparkly bridesmaids dresses!
Before you view the rest of the images, check out this behind the scenes film that Ben from Magical Touch Media created for our shoot. He captured the essence of the shoot, and I love how it not only brings the viewer into natural beauty of the location, but it also features the love and time that our vendors put into this project. This was a labor of love for us, and I think this video demonstrates that beautifully. Did I mention that I am over the moon about this video? I am in total awe of it. Well done, Ben!
I recommend watching this on full-screen mode if you can.
Here are some of the images from the day, below. Including shots of the interior of the new Town Hall venue. Enjoy!
We shot in the forest that surrounds the town. It’s so stunning out there… You never want to leave! If you look closely enough, there is also an adorable collection of little forest “gnomes” that visitors to the town add to throughout the year. Ben features some of these in his video, above. :)
LaineeMeg Bridal provided us with a couple of gorgeous, modern dresses for the shoot, as well as accessories. Love the beading detail and the one-shoulder design. Designer, Katie, created the metallic gold blusher/hair piece specifically for this shoot.
The town is filled with cottages featuring New-England style architecture. I love the crushed shells everywhere, and white picket fences!
Our designer, Katie, created these sweet little ribbon streamers that we had A BLAST playing with for the shoot. I love this idea for my brides… I’m usually not huge on using too many props in photos, but these totally won me over! Also: how much do you love those sparkly gold bridesmaid dresses?
The interior of Seabrook’s Town Hall is lovely. Architects did a great job keeping it simple and streamlined, while choosing pretty finishes. I loved the light in there. Wonderstruck Event Design actually created the hand-made driftwood arch. Paula from Paisley Petals accented the arch with pretty spray arrangements, and tucked little succulents here and there. To me, this arch was a show-stopper and a jaw-dropper, PERFECT for a Pacific Northwest wedding. Beautiful job, ladies!
Katie also designed these letterpress invitations, above, and the fun welcome table, below… complete with a stone mermaid statue! Is there anything she can’t do?! And ow awesome are these coral & barnacle accents for the escort card/greeting table?
I would describe these ceremony-space details as Pacific-Northwest Chic. :) Loved the succulents, the white sand, and sticks. It’s down-to-earth, but still sophisticated and a bit sparkly at the same time.
The Town Hall venue has two separate gathering spaces, the main floor/stage area, and the upstairs mezzanine. Our planner and florist dreamed up this stunning hanging driftwood feature, adorned with glasss lanterns and baubles.
These cakes were perfect in their simplicity, and tasted as good as they looked! I loved the succulent & starfish embellishments.
What do YOU think of the shoot? We’d love to hear your feedback!
